Welcome to andertonprojects
Margaret Anderton works as an independent artist photographer and is a member of (untitled) photography group based in Birmingham and a member of Eyes photography group based in Lichfield. She completed her MA Fine Art at the University of the Arts London (Central Saint Martins) in 1999.
Current work involves photographing interiors of institutions to produce images of human presence through their absence and recording a narrative of daily happenings.
On going projects concern images dealing with private, public, cultural and topical matters. Some photographs, with text, invite the spectator to consider the image first and then reconsider after reading the text.
